Jana R. Morrow, MA, LCMHC, NCC
Counselor/Play Therapist
980-292-1238
I am thrilled to offer services to those in and around the University area. I love working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I believe that mental health is the most influential part of our lives and it is often overlooked. My purpose is to work with you to develop a positive mental health and enable you to work through anything life throws your way, no matter how big or small the issue may seem.

I am a Board Certified, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), TBRI Practitioner, and have training as a Play Therapist.
I am happy to be a resource for children (2+), teens, and adults. My approach is a strength based and collaborative approach, while incorporating experiential techniques, skill building, and creative expression to match the clients cognitive development and meet their unique needs. You know yourself the best and I will work with you in designing a counseling plan based on your needs. For children, ages 2 - 12, I use Play Therapy. This allows children to express their emotions when their words are failing. Play is a child's natural means of communication. For teens and adults, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and encourage expression through talk, or creative activities when communication seems overwhelming.
